Jared Anderson has Graduated to Heavyweight Contender Status

For heavyweight Jared “Big Baby” Anderson (13-0, 13KO), it is time to take off the kid gloves. No longer should he feast off of low-tier fighters as he moves from prospect to contender status.

On December 10, Big Baby made quick work of veteran Jerry Forrest (26-6-2, 20KO) in one round. Shortly after the fight, the promising young heavyweight dropped a list of names he wants to fight right now.

“All the big names. All those people who are ranked, anybody in the top 15 in WBC, WBO, and WBA. Anybody up there you know. Filip Hrgovic, Frank Sanchez, all those big names. Dillian Whyte, Daniel Dubois, the whole list man. The list goes on, everybody! It’s a business, we gotta make those fights. These people, Michael Hunter, everybody who got an ‘O’, it gotta go.”

ANDERSON SHOULD NO LONGER BE TREATED LIKE A PROSPECT

It is not the first time he has called out some of those names on the list. Anderson witnessed Whyte struggle with Jermaine Franklin and took to social media asking for a fight.

Big Baby has repeatedly called out for a fight with Hrgovic. While speaking with ThaBoxingVoice, Anderson expressed wanting to fight top-rated stablemate Arslanbek Makhmudov.

After watching his destruction of Forrest, it is time to give the young man what he wants. Anderson has shown the talent, ability, and skillset that proves he is ready to start moving toward a title shot.
