Demetrius Andrade is irritated with all the Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin trilogy talk!

WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade was one of many witnesses of Gennady Golovkin’s DAZN debut against the out-matched Steve Rolls on June 8.

In a post-fight interview with Chris Mannix, he shared his thoughts on the match-up and the prospect of a Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez trilogy.

On Golovkin Defeating Rolls

“He did what he was supposed to do against an undefeated fighter!

“If you want to call what GGG did tonight as spectacular, then man, you need to watch me fight more often!”

On the Push For a Canelo vs Golovkin Trilogy

“It’s unfair everyone is talking about Canelo and GGG because I want the chance to prove I’m the best.

“I am the WBO champion! If he [Golovkin] wants to fight a Canelo, he should have to come through me!

“After I beat Maciej Sulecki, it should be me vs Canelo for undisputed champion. With my good looks and my skills, if I put Sulecki down a certain way, I just think Canelo runs. He wouldn’t want to fight me!”

What Should be Next For All Three?

“I want Canelo. I want GGG! I’m gonna take care of Sulecki in Providence, Rhode Island June 29. After that I want them both!

“We are all signed to DAZN. There’s no reason [these] fights shouldn’t happen. If they [Canelo and Golovkin] don’t want to fight, they shouldn’t be boxing!

“It’s time for the elite guys to fight the elite guys and that’s it!”

Things are starting to get interesting at middleweight under the DAZN banner. All three bouts are excellent match-ups with a lot on the line in each one.

Lets sit back and watch as the story at middleweight continues to unfold!
