Turner turned pro in May 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he resides. El Terrier made his British boxing debut against Adam Yahaya on October 21.
Fighting on the undercard of Jack Catteral’s unanimous decision victory over Jorge Linares, Turner made easy work of Yahaya, stopping him in the opening round in his hometown of Liverpool. During the post-fight interview, Turner said he plans to take over and rule the bantamweight division.
“I believe I’ll flatten a lot of them. I believe I’ll run through it (bantamweight), and I’ll be world champion. That’s what I believe.”
