The “Domino Effect” is happening for Kubrat Pulev!
After IBF #1 heavyweight contender Krubrat Pulev’s forcible kiss of reporter Jenny Ravalo went viral, she has since employed the services of celebrity attorney Gloria Allred to pursue legal action. Now, things are starting to go down hill for the Bulgarian.
The California State Athletic Commission has taken action against Pulev by suspending him until he meets with officials in a hearing. The CSAC issues the following statement:
“Before he will be licensed to fight in California again, boxer Kubrat Pulev must appear in front of the commission and demonstrate that he will conform to this principle of respect.”
As for Ravalo, her comments regarding the matter reflected her resolve in wanting adequate punishment for the incident:
“I wanted him to be accountable and I did not want him to get away with it. What he did to me was disgusting! We were not friends, we were not in a romantic relationship, he had no right to kiss me.”
As for Pulev, he has yet to issue a formal statement. His focus seems to be on securing a bout with former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. This incident doesn’t help his cause at all due to ESPN having to approve the fight. Moreover, being that they’re a mainstream platform, it seems unlikely they’d air such a bout in the current political climate.
