Flaz Is Ready For The Next Level After Beating Gomez
Rising welterweight prospect Nicklaus “Nico” Flaz (14-2, 9KO) overwhelmed Christian “Ninote” Gomez (23-5-1, 21KO) for the win.
This fight was supposed to be another hard test for Nico. Instead, it was an all-out assault by Flaz, who hit Ninote with everything, including the kitchen sink.
It was a one-sided beatdown, as Flaz controlled the fight with a blistering jab. He repeatedly landed flurries of unanswered shots before moving to the side to land more punches.
Gomez didn’t give up and fought back in the middle rounds by landing good combinations. Yet, he was getting pummeled by hard shots while stuck in the corner.
As the fight continued, it was all Flaz. He danced around the ring on his toes, landing with ease. In addition, the Puerto Rican showed excellent defense by avoiding any return fire from Gomez.
When the fight ended, all three judges agreed scoring the contest 100-90 in favor of Flaz. This is the type of performance that will gain serious attention from the boxing public.
