Pacquiao Likely To Be On Crawford/Horn Card On ESPN PPV

Pacquiao and Crawford PPV likely to headline ESPN’s first PPV

It is being heavily suggested that Manny Pacquaio will appear on the same card as the WBO Welterweight title fight between Australian Champion Jeff’ The Hornet’ Horn and American Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford, live at Madison Square Garden on April 14th. According to our sources the event will be the first array into PPV for the Top Rank on ESPN platform.

It has been rumored that Top Rank Chief Exec Bob Arum is trying to put together a bout between Pacquaio and the recently crowned WBA ‘regular’ champion, hard hitting Argentinian Lucas Matthyssee. Golden Boy Promotions has pushed for this bout heavily since Matthysse’s win over Tewa Kiram on January 27th. Should that bout fail, then Mike Alvarado is expected to be the Filipino former champions opponent.

We last saw Pacquaio fight in a losing effort against Horn in the then challengers backyard last July. Given the common promotional team between both Pacquaio and Crawford andshould both fighters be successful. One would think it’s almost a forgone conclusion that we may see both men in opposite corners of the ring later on this year. However should Pacquaio lose his upcoming fight, surely this will mark the last occasion that we ever see one of the best of this generation grace the squared circle.
