Jesus Ramos v Brian Mendoza to fight on September 5!
Jesus “Mono” Ramos (16-0, 14KOs) will return to the ring on September 5 against Brian “La Bala” Mendoza (19-1, 13KOs) on September 5, in a PBC on Fox Main Event. This matchup pits together two hard-hitting fighters with fan-friendly styles.
Ramos was last in the ring on the undercard of Andy Ruiz v Chris Arreola. There he dominated Javier Molina over ten rounds to pick up a unanimous decision win. The 20-year-old is looking to continue his rise throughout the junior middleweight division.
Mendoza will be looking to pull off an upset. He was originally set to face former unified junior middleweight champion Julian Williams on June 26. However, the Philly native withdrew due to an elbow injury. Their fight will take place at The Armory in Minnesota.
