Adrien Broner vs Ivan Redkach Expected To Hit BLK Prime
It’s been a long time since boxing fans spoke the name “Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner” in alignment with some of the best boxing has to offer. However, he still knows how to keep fans interested due to his pre-fight antics, win or lose! Word on the street, he is gearing up for fight against journeyman Ivan Redkach (23-6-1, 18KO) on BLK Prime February 18, 2023.
Broner (34-4-1, 24KO) announced in October he would be working with BLK Prime. This on the heels of a long layoff, constant beefs with multiple individuals on social media and the backing out of a fight against Omar Figueroa that was to be a Showtime main event in August.
Speaking of beefs on social media, the fight with Redkach stems from back and forth action the two had in 2020. The cyber altercation started when Broner clowned Redkach after a video of the latter getting the life beat out of him in sparring against three-time junior lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis went viral. Redkach responded with a call-out of the former champion.
At that time, it was rumored the two struck a deal to meet at the end of 2020. This would have been Broner’s return since the Manny Pacquiao loss in 2019. However, the former champion would realistically be in the midst of a long layoff due to promoter and out of the ring issues.

The Problem has not seen action since defeating unknown prospect Jovanie Santiago in February 2021. While a resurgence to the top of the sport shouldn’t be expected from Broner, it is always entertaining to see what he is going to do next…pre-fight!
