Canelo Alvarez vs Sergey Kovalev Finalized for November 2!
It appears that Canelo Alvarez and Sergey Kovalev have finally reached a deal.3kingsboxing.com has learned the two champions will collide at light heavyweight.
The fight will take place on November 2 in Las Vegas.
This isn’t surprising, as both sides have been embroiled in back and forth negotiations for nearly a month. Now, with everything seemingly in place, an announcement is set for next week.
Alvarez will be moving up two weight classes to challenge the powerful but older opponent.
Kovalev will look to become the second man to defeat Alvarez, whose sole loss came at the hands of Floyd Mayweather back in 2013.
No matter how you slice it, this is a very dangerous fight for Canelo. While Kovalev may be 36, he’s still very capable considering his skill-set and knockout power.
