Jared Anderson Is Ready Test Himself And Martin Bakole

Heavyweight contender Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (17-0, 15 KOs) fully believes his fight with the mighty Congolese fighter Martin Bakole (20-1, 15 KOs) is a gateway to great things. In addition, he wants to know if Bakole can last against his power.

By collecting the scalp of Bakole, especially by knockout, The Real Big Baby feels he will have finally proven his worth beyond rational rebuke.

DON’T TELL ME, SHOW ME!

Naturally, Bakole has no intentions of laying down and letting Anderson sashay to victory. Quite the opposite, the Democratic Republic of Congo boxer has voiced serious conviction that he will stop the young upstart.

While speaking on DAZN Boxing, Anderson found it humorous that Bakole thinks he can be knocked out.

“He’s tough, he’s a tough fighter. Somebody to come forward, somebody to want to be a bully but I am here to fight! 100%! He said he is going to stop me, so I am waiting to see that, can’t wait!”

To his credit, Bakole, ranked #1 (WBA), #6 (WBC), #12 (WBO), and #14 (IBF), is currently enjoying a two-fight KO streak. These two early fight stoppages came at the expense of Carlos Takam and Ihor Shevadzutskyi. Yet, simply because he halted them inside the distance does not guarantee a third consecutive knockout.

HOW TOUGH IS HE

For better or worse though, this battle should serve as a great measuring stick of where Anderson does or doesn’t belong with the top-tier fighters. In fact, along with the fans, The Real Big Baby looks forward to testing his nerve, insight, and mental strength.

At the same time, Anderson is curious to see how Bakole responds to his firepower. Obtaining these answers should invigorate the crowd!

“How tough he truly is. I’ve heard stories, and I’ve seen the fights but I really want to see how tough he is. Because I know I can punch! I am not saying I am the biggest puncher, I am not Deontay Wilder or nothing, but I can punch! You going to feel my punches, so we’ll see if he can go the whole ten with it!”
