Andrade-Saunders could still happen in the future!

According to Eddie Hearn, Demetrius Andrade is willing to face Billy Joe Saunders in a voluntary title defense. Of course, he would need to defeat Walter Kautondokwa October 20 for the vacate WBO middleweight title.

The two were supposed to face each other in a highly anticipated match-up. However, the now former WBO champion tested positive for the banned stimulant oxilofrine. That resulted in the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission to deny Saunders a license to fight.

An Andrade-Saunders bout would still be one of the best middleweight fights that can happen today. Moreover,it would fall in line with comments made recently by the former junior middleweight champion who said he’s looking to only fight the best.
