Demetrius Andrade vs Maciej Sulecki targeted for the summer.
Maciej Sulecki defeated Gabe Rosado in March to win the WBO International Middleweight title. Following the victory, anticipation rose for a match with WBO champion Demetrius Andrade next. However, upon discovery of a hairline fracture to his right hand from the Rosado bout, the Andrade match was a “no-go”.
3KingsBoxing has now learned upon further examination Sulecki’s hand has been deemed well enough to fight. As a result, we will see Andrade (27-0, 18KO) make the second defense of the title against Selecki (28-1, 11KO) who is currently ranked third in the latest rankings.
This bout will take place on either June 22 or the 29th. Expect the location to be in the champion’s hometown of Providence, Rhode Island at the Providence Civic Center.
Additionally, the fight will air on the DAZN streaming service.
