Barry Hearn Recovering From Heart Attack and Surgery
As the world is contending with the calamitous effects of COVID-19, the boxing family of the Hearn’s were dealing with a whole other medical emergency. Now that the ordeal appears to be at an end, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing revealed that his father, Barry Hearn, had suffered a minor heart attack during the previous weekend.
Since having the heart attack, Eddie’s father has undergone surgery and is now recovering from the scary episode. Barry is the founder of Matchroom Boxing, which is now controlled and run by his son Eddie. Obviously, if given a choice, one would not want to suffer any life threatening medical malady whatsoever. However, for a bad situation, this sounds like it was as good as it can get.
We at 3kingsboxing hope that Barry Hearn undergoes a thorough rest and recuperation process.
