Adrien Broner has some words for Regis Prograis and Jose Ramirez, then makes another announcement!
Adrien Broner is at it again with his trash talk! This time, he has turned his attention to two of the best fighters at junior welterweight, Regis Prograis and Jose Ramirez.
In a video over social media, Broner clearly stated that he would fuck up both, Prograis and Ramirez. In the following quote, he particularly targets the WBSS #1 seed and WBA champion!
“Man everybody keep talking about Regis Prograis! I’ll beat the fuck out of buddy no cap. So the blog y’all can send that to him I don’t give a f**k I’m right here! I’ll fuck buddy up.”
Prograis is a fighter on the rise who holds the WBA junior welterweight title and Ramirez recently unified the WBC and WBO titles with a stoppage victory over Maurice Hooker. Both guys would be significant favorites over Broner if they were ever to fight.
This seems to be a strategy to get a big fight and title opportunity. Instead of fighting his way to the opportunities, the four division champion is electing to talk his way into them!
Broner, who’s 2-2-1 in his last five fights, is viewed now as a gatekeeper. He’s continued to come up short in big fight after big fight.
Therefore, while he’ll likely get some attention and a response, this should fall on deaf ears. Broner is not worth the back and forth. At least, not until he shows us he can become consistent and win some significant fights.
With his act growing increasingly old and tired, it’s time for Broner to let his hands (not his mouth) do the talking.
The funniest part about all of this, shortly after making the video, he “cryptically” announces his retirement! However, this looks to be just another one of Broner’s antics we have become so accustomed to seeing over his eleven year career!

regis response seemed like he was serious about making this fight… #PrograisBroner is a big fight broner doing goofy stuff again it looks like attention seeking bs again
Prograis isn’t the type to sit quiet on a callout of him. He did the same thing when Maurice Hooker was calling him out. Broner should tread lightly as this match-up is way too much for him at this stage in his career.
