Luke Campbell has brought in Shane McGuigan as his new trainer.
Campbell (30), is looking to position himself for another world title opportunity.
Just last year, he challenged then lineal and WBA lightweight champion Jorge Linares, where he lost a close decision in a fight some people felt he won.
McGuigan, while still young himself, has worked with some of the U.K’s brightest fighters in recent years.
He guided George Groves to the WBA super middleweight title. He has also trained Carl Frampton and David Haye.
Currently, he is renowned for his work with highly touted 140 pound contender Josh Taylor.
Campbell is leaving behind Jorge Rubio who coached the Cuban National team. In addition, he is the former trainer of Amir Khan and Juan Arroyo.
