Corcoran Confident He Will Beat Horn

Horn Set To Make First Title Defense

 

Gary Corcoran, 17-1 7KO, is all set to head down under to face WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn in a little less thantwo weeks from nowonDecember 13th. The “Hellraiser” is heading into hostile territory but didn’t seem the least bit concerned about the idea when he was on the BoxNation podcast earlier:

“I’m very confident that I’ll do a job on Jeff Horn. He beat Pacquiao when he was at the end of his career. I’m going to beat him!He’s there to be beat… I was looking at him a few weeks ago and he’s very beatable for a World Title. I was happy to get the fight, there are big things ahead.”

“I’m not looking ahead of this, but Horn is! He’s talking about more fights. I’m just looking to beat him up and then see what happens after,” Corcoran added.

It will be Horn’s first defense of the title he won fromManny Pacquiao by a controversial decision in front of his hometown crowd in Brisbane,July 2ndon ESPN. If Horn is able to get by Corcoran he is expectedto face the former undisputed junior welterweightchampion Terence Crawford in April.
