Errol Spence and Terence Crawford Heat Up in a Hurry on Social Media!

When WBA Super, IBF and WBC welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr (28-0, 22 KO’s) recently beat Yordenis Ugas, it only further whet the appetite of rabid boxing fans. This is because there was even more pressure added to make Spence versus WBO 147-pound champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (38-0, 29 KO’s) for undisputed. Now the anticipation for this bout is likely to begin boiling over.

As boxers often do in this modern era, The Truth and Bud recently took the time to haze one another through their social media accounts. Yet, this exchange is all the more meaningful because both fighters are talking about facing one another next in a way that has never happened before. That, combined with the vitriol laden messages, further strengthens the feeling that his match-up will take place soon.

AND YA MAN CAN GET IT TOO!

Aside from taking headshots at one another, The Truth even took the time to clown Bud’s long-time trainer, Brian “Bomac” McIntrye. It will be interesting to see if this public squabbling will persist or if this turns out to be a one-time skirmish.

Errol Spence Jr takes a dig at Bomac

Throughout his boxing career, Crawford has fought like a pugilist with a chip on his shoulder and that has been under normal circumstances. While there is sure to be some element of good-natured humor in this exchange, both men are deadly serious when it comes to beating, and beating up, the other man. Therefore, the unprovoked dig at his trainer and friend will certainly add a few more logs of motivation to Bud’s internal fire. So, let’s kick back and see how this blossoming feud continues to unfold over the next several weeks and months.
