Daniel Jacobs Could Fight Demetrius Andrade In Return Bout
After two years of watching the action from the sidelines, two-time middleweight champion Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (37-4, 30 KO’s) is returning to the ring. The Miracle Man may look to fight two-divisional champions Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade (32-1, 19KO).
Jacobs shared the news in a brief Q&A with AB Boxing News.
“I am also here today to officially announce my coming back, sometime in June or July, But this is going to be exciting for me because I’ve been off for a while so I’m looking forward to show that I still got what it takes and end my career with a nice bang!”
When last competing in the squared-circle, Jacobs did so as a super middleweight so it stands to reason that is where he will return. Also in that last duel, with John Ryder, Miracle Man suffered a split decision defeat. So, not only will he be looking to stave off ring rust he will also be trying to hop back in the win column.
SUICIDE SQUAD
Naturally, Jacobs will want to test his mettle against a known, live dog rather than some miscellaneous face off a milk carton. Another fighter looking to get on the right side of the win column is Boo Boo. Throughout his career, Andrade has had notorious trouble securing the name brand prizefights that he has craved.
Now, in the twilight of his professional run, this dilemma is not dissipating in the least. The blues are exacerbated by his losing badly to David Benavidez in his last showing. Each represents a solid win for the other, this seems like an obtainable fight politically speaking and it should provide great action.
In any case it will be interesting to see who Miracle Man can unearth to slide back into the ring with. Regardless of who it turns out to be 3Kings Boxing will be here to report and discuss!
