Khan vs Vargas will be featured by DAZN as a free fight
Just before it’s official launch on September 22, Eddie Hearn and Joseph Markowski, SVP of DAZN North America, will have a treat for fight fans.
Amir Khan (20-4, 20KO) vs. Samuel Vargas (29-3, 14KO) will be aired for free!
Fans can all the action including live undercard bouts on Twitter (@DAZN_USA) and Facebook (DAZNUSA) September 8 beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
Khan, who made short-work of Phil Lo Greco in April, will need to look just as spectacular for this fight.
The Bolton native has been very vocal about his desire to fight former sparring partner and 8-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao next.
A fight between the two competitors was once a highly debated topic amongst boxing fans. Who has the faster hands? Who has the better footwork? These questions were the culprits of heated conversations between fans.
While Khan and Vargas meet in the main event, there is a hidden jewel on the card that could potentially steal the show.
Jason Welborn vs. Tommy Langford for the BBBofC Middleweight title is a much anticipated rematch. The two battled one another in May, with Welborn etching out a close decision victory.
Also on the undercard, BBBofC Midlands Area Super Welterweight champion, Ryan Kelly (11-1, 5KO) takes on undefeated challenger, Kelcie Ball (9-0, 2KO).
