135lbs Prospect Devin Haney Gets Promoter License

Devin Haney puts on his promoter hat while still climbing the lightweight rankings!

Undefeated WBC Youth/USBA Lightweight Champion, Devin “The Dream” Haney is doing just that; living the dream.

The 19 year old boxer has recently obtained a boxing promoter’s license by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC). This makes him the youngest boxing promoter in the sport!

Haney (19-0, 13KOs) is considered by many pundits as one of the top prospects in boxing. His recent victory in a Showtime debut bout was a ninth round knockout in sensational fashion against Mason Menard.

The IBF #15 rated boxer will be returning to the ring against title contender, Juan Carlos Burgos (32-2-2, 21KOs).

Many boxing pundits see this fight as the toughest of his career so far.

In addition, the bout will be the first promoted fight of Devin Haney Promotions.

Shobox will feature this contest as part of another competitive triple-header card on September 28 in Calfornia.
