Diaz Blasts Garcia For Withdrawing From Their November 27 Grudge Match
There is plenty of animosity between current WBC world “interim” lightweight champion Joseph “Jo Jo” Diaz (32-1-1, 15 KOs) and top contender Ryan Garcia (21-0, 18 KOs). The two men were to go to battle on November 27 in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, that fight is now being pushed back. That is because on October 15, Garcia announced he’s pulling out of the match due to an injury. He detailed the specifics and severity of the injury via social media.
FUMING MAD
Diaz is not happy about this development. Frustrated and ticked off, he sent out a series of venous Tweets blasting Garcia.
Ever since winning the WBC “interim” world title, Diaz had his sights set on a fight with Garcia. Fans were entertained with the back-and-forth trash talk on social media, and the buzz was starting to grow. To say these two don’t like each other would be an understatement.
This fight was to be promoted by Golden Boy Promotions. They have yet to announce if or when bout will be rescheduled, at this time. Stay tuned to 3KingsBoxing for any additional updates.
