Dubois v Joyce delayed again!
It has been a major task trying to get hard-hitting heavyweight contenders Daniel “Dynamite” Dubois (15-0, 14KOs) and Joe “Juggernaut” Joyce (11-0, 10KOs) in the ring together. Not because of the fighters, but at the hands of COVID-19.
More recently, both men partook in “tune up” fights. Joyce stopped Michael Wallisch (20-4, 13KOs) on July 25. Dubois, on the other hand, scored a knockout win over Ricardo Snijders (18-2, 8KOs) on August 29.
This latest setback stems from government officials in the UK stating that a November date would be a more suitable time frame to allow fans to attend the fight at the O2 Arena. Previously scheduled to take place on October 24, the new target date is now November 14 or 21.
Let us all keep our fingers crossed that once a new date is finalized we won’t have any more setbacks.
