Fabio Wardley Makes Quick Work Of Frazer Clarke
In a domestic-level heavyweight rematch, Fabio Wardley (18-0-1, 17KO) made easy work of Frazer “Big Fraze” Clarke (8-1-1, 6KO) in the first round.
Their first fight was a Fight of the Year candidate type of fight. But this time Wardley was not in the mood to play around and came out firing early. He landed a crumbling overhand right that had Big Fraze on wobbly legs.
Despite getting over-aggressive and semi-hurt from a hook by Clarke, Wardley quickly turned it around with a flurry of devastating hooks. After landing a final, sickening right hand, the referee immediately stopped the fight.
It was the statement-making performance that Wardley needed to put their rivalry to bed. With nothing left to prove, it is time for him and the team to look to face a world-level opponent.
Wardley can be a force in the heavyweight division and has come a long way for a fighter who started boxing late in life. He has power in both hands and his mentality is aligned with his overall abilities.
