Tevin Farmer confident he can beat Gervonta Davis!

Former IBF junior lightweight champion Tevin “American Idol” Farmer (30-5-1, 6KOs) may have rekindled a nasty beef with WBA regular lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (24-0, 23KOs)! The two men genuinely do not like each other. Although the tension may have dwindled down a little bit, that did not stop the Philly fighter from proclaiming an easy victory over the Baltimore native, if at his best.

He told 3kingsboxing.com the following about how a possible fight with Davis would play out.

AT MY BEST, DAVIS STANDS NO CHANCE!

“It’s definitely levels to this game man and I feel like my IQ is definitely different. It’s hard to really judge a fight like that because, ‘oh he did that to him, that’s what he’d do’. But I know the problems I’d give Davis man. Everybody knows, you know? You ain’t just gon’ hit me and think that’s just what it’s gonna be.

Aye I’m a Philly boy bro, he from Baltimore and all that, but you ain’t just gone… I’ll put this wool dead on him and you know I’m durable bruh, like I’m durable. So, even at my worst like it was the JoJo fight, the second round I was done. I was dehydrated, but I was still able to push through. So imagine me at one hundred percent, know what I’m saying. Imagine me not at one hundred percent, no fighter is ever at one hundred percent. Imagine me at the best I can be, it’s all she wrote man. It’s all she wrote.”

These two men’s history has been well documented throughout social media and real life, as they have come face to face in a yelling match outside of the ring. Lastly, there is the missed opportunity for both men to unify the IBF and WBA junior lightweight titles in 2019. Negotiations fell through after Farmer rejected a reported $2 million offer from Leonard Ellerbe.

Hopefully sometime in the future these two men can settle their differences in the ring.
