Isaac Dogboe and Carl Frampton meet in a crossroads battle!
3kingsboxing.com has learned that a very intriguing featherweight match-up will take place between former champions Carl Frampton and Isaac Dogboe.
The fight which will take place in California on November 30.
Both men have seen a few bumps in the road as of late. This fight will appear as a crossroads battle, as these two look to resume their winning ways.
Frampton will look to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to IBF featherweight champion Josh Warrington last December.
Dogboe is coming off two surprising back-to-back, one-sided defeats against WBO Emanuel Navarrete. The rematch concluded with his corner throwing in the towel.
At age 24, Dogboe knows what a third consecutive loss means. It’ll be interesting to see the impact of the losses to Navarrete have had.
Frampton, a little long in the tooth, knows a loss here may spell the end of a successful career. Especially considering a freak accident knocked him out of his fight with Emmanuel Dominguez before even stepping into the ring. The mishap left his hand broken after an object in a hotel lobby fell on it.
This fight should provide a litmus test as for where both men stand.
3kingsboxing.com will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available.
