Gennady Golovkin Returns June 8 Against Canadian Steve Rolls

Gennady Golovkin will make his DAZN debut against undefeated Canadian Steve Rolls!

Undefeated middleweight Steve Rolls (19-0, 10KOs) will get the toughest challenge of his career!

3kingsboxing.com has learned Rolls has agreed to a deal to face former unified champion Gennady Golovkin June 8 on DAZN!

While the fight isn’t completely finalized, the two are expected to face at a catch-weight of 165 pounds.

Rolls will head into this fight as an unproven commodity and viewed as simply a tune-up for Golovkin who has been out of the ring since losing a rematch to Canelo Alvarez in September 2018.

This fight is viewed as a stop-gap for until a bigger fight arises potentially against the winner of the May 4 fight between Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs. Also, a bout with WBO champion Demetrius Andrade is possible.
