Devin Haney eying Luke Campbell for soon to be vacant WBC Title!
If young lightweight contender Devin “The Dream” Haney (21-0, 13KO’s) has illustrated anything, its that he’s playing chess and not checkers!
It has been reported by Eddie Hearn that he wants to match the fighter/promoter against WBC #1 contender Luke Campbell (20-2, 16KO’s) for the title Mikey garcia is expected to vacate.
Many speculated that Vasyl Lomachenko would receive the title shot. Although, at the moment it appears that this honor will go to Haney.
It was only just this week that Devin announced that he was entering his own Devin Haney Promotions into a lucrative, multi-fight co-promotional partnership with DAZN. A potential victory against Campbell would make “The Dream” a 21-year old champion who is essentially his own promoter.
Therefore, no matter how it plays out, his proves he is trying to make the biggest moves possible right now.
