Jared Anderson and Keyshawn Davis Grab Easy Victories!

Sensational heavyweight contender Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (14-0, 14KO) yet again dispatches of an over-matched opponent. On paper, George Arias (18-1, 7KO) seemed like a capable opponent due to his undefeated record. However, quick research on his level of competition coupled with the size discrepancy and his fighting style made this an easy fight to call. Arias was very tentative and decided to use the ring while darting in and out. Unfortunately for him, Anderson is too smart. He showed patience as he found his timing on Arias’ movement quickly.

In the final 10 seconds of round three, he caught the Dominican with a combination that staggered him against the ropes. While there, Anderson landed a four-punch combination that instantly swelled and drew blood on the face of Arias. The bell would save the possible knockdown, but Arias’ corner can be heard immediately saying “No, you’re not good” as they analyzed the damage on their fighter. As expected, the Dominican did not make it to the 4th round. In the post-fight interview, Anderson made it clear that he believes he is the best heavyweight in the world!

KEYSHAWN DAVIS VS ANTHONY YIGIT

2020 Olympic Silver medalist Keyshawn “The Businessman” Davis (8-0, 6KO) started slow, but only to allow former WBSS 140-pound participant Anthony “Digit” Yigit (26-3-1, 10KO) to outwork himself. By round three, Yigit found himself falling into trap after trap. As Davis walked his opponent down, fans could see the major difference in ring I.Q. A bloody and bruised Yigit tried to get into the head of the Virginia native by taunting, but the discrepancy in skill and mental fortitude was too wide.

The fight was so one-sided, the taunting was the most excitement Yigit was able to provide. Davis made this 9th round knockout victory look easy. Despite this fight not being competitive, there are still defensive mechanics The Businessman needs to work on. Specifically, keeping his head off the center line. Yigit did land shots he probably should not have landed. This could be because Davis didn’t respect Yigit’s power. However, it will be a good idea not to make this a habit early in his career. In the post-fight interview, Davis called and left a message for fellow undefeated lightweight contender Frank Martin!
