Multi-Time National Champion Jorge Carlos Signs with Manager Ryan Rickey; Joins Eric Valencia on Deontay Wilder Undercard

Multi-time national amateur champion and undefeated professional boxer Jorge Carlos (9-0, 8 KOs) has officially signed a management agreement with Ryan Rickey, marking another major addition to Rickey’s growing roster of rising talent. Rickey will guide the career of the popular Kansas City based puncher alongside Tanner Gill who will continue in his role as advisor to Carlos.

Carlos, widely regarded as one of the nation’s most polished prospects, brings a stellar amateur pedigree and an impressive start to his professional career. His signing comes just weeks after Rickey added fellow Midwestern standout and former amateur national champion Eric Valencia (3-0, 2 KOs) to his team.

Both Carlos and Valencia are now scheduled to appear on the high-profile Deontay Wilder undercard on June 27th in Wichita, Kansas, a major opportunity to showcase their skills on a global stage.

“Jorge is the kind of fighter who doesn’t come around often—dedicated, smart, and incredibly skilled. Pairing him with a growing star like Eric Valencia shows the level of talent coming out of the Midwest right now. This region is producing future world champions.”

Ryan Ricky – Manager of Jorge Carlos

“I think the timing is perfect and eager to work with Ryan. I’m confident in the team that I’m assembling and am excited for what’s next!”

Jorge Carlos – Junior Welterweight Prospect

With both fighters set to perform under the bright lights of a major card, Rickey’s stable is quickly becoming one of the most promising in the sport. The Midwest is proving to be a powerhouse of emerging boxing talent—and Rickey’s bright young stars are right at the center of it.
