Kownacki and Washington will meet at the Barclays in January!
3kingsboxing.com has learned that Polish heavyweight contender Adam Kownacki (18-0, 14KOs) will continue his pursuit of a world title opportunity as he faces former world title challenger Gerald Washington.
This fight is one of many expected to be announced November 13 at the PBC on Fox reveal!
The two men will meet as part of a PBC on Fox card that could be headlined by the return of Super WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman.
In September, Kownacki defeated former IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin in an entertaining scrap. This will be his third consecutive fight at the Barclays.
Meanwhile, Washington (19-2-1, 12KOs), got one in the win column after defeating John Nofire in June. This coming after suffering back-to-back stoppage losses to WBC champion Deontay Wilder and respected contender Jarrell Miller.
This is important fight for both men as they fight to get in position for a world title opportunity!
