Kuzmin vs Price could be on the under-card of Joshua-Povetkin
3kingsboxing has learned that Sergei Kuzmin (12-0-1, 9 KOs) could face David Price (22-4-1, 18 KOs) on the under-card of Joshua/Povetkin.
The 31 year old Kuzmin is a highly touted prospect and former amateur standout. This Russian born fighter and stablemate of Povetkin can generate power in both hands, along with a devastating overhand right.
Price, a former British championship contender, brings ample experience to this fight. Although, at 35 years old, he has seen better days. After falling short in his last fight, Price finds himself in a must-win situation.
Another devastating loss could place him on gatekeeper status. However, he will enjoy having a significant height, reach, experience and hometown crowd advantage.
The card will take place September 22 in London at Wembley Stadium.
