Talented 154lbs prospect Mansaborie Conde is on a mission to be the man!

Right now, the next big-time super welterweight champion is training in Laurel, Maryland. Well, at least according to Mansaborie “The Punisher” Conde (1-0, 1 KO) that is. Conde, who was born and raised in Maryland, is just one month off his successful professional debut. On December 19, 2020, Conde christened his pro career with a third round knockout of Ricardo Becerril. The Punisher assures that this will only be the first of many victories and stoppages.

Luckily the Maryland native is both truly skilled and expertly guided. While still a relatively new working relationship, Conde has taken on Calvin Ford as his chief second. They have been linked up for a little over a year now. Despite the freshness of their professional relationship, the two have known each other for quite a few years. Well prior to his accepting him as a charge, Ford knew that Conde was a great talent in the making.

CASH ON THE BARRELHEAD

In a recent interview with 3kingsboxing.com, the laidback bruiser was confident in saying he wanted to be the man. At the same time, the Punisher understands that there are steps in this game. So, his first plan of attack is to remain as busy as possible. If everything goes according to plan, Conde is going to be awful busy in 2021!

“From the looks of it, with my manager, we looking to be close to 10-0 by the end of the year. I’m very active, I’m back in February, I’ll be back in March, back in May, back in June, I’ll be very active. For sure!

…I’m not going to call names out right now, but all the champions for sure. Just know all the champions in the welterweight divisions can get it! I leave that up to my team and manager, I don’t care for nobody when I get in the ring. I don’t duck and dodge, none of that. I love getting in the ring, so anybody they put in front of me, they got to go!”

Certainly there is no doubt that the Punisher is aiming to stage an ambitious year. Yet one thing taking some of the sting off the grueling schedule is the pay check at the end of the night!

“And now that I am getting paid to fight, oh my gosh! I been doing this all my life. Now that I been getting paid, I been dedicated. Now I get a check cut to me after I fight, that’s all the motivation that I need!”
