Najee Lopez Looking Ahead to Morrell After Henderson Win?

In his most recent bout in the ring, dangerous light heavyweight boxer Najee Lopez (15-0, 12 KO’s) kept his perfect record intact. The heavy-handed bruiser accomplished his by stopping his overwhelmed opponent, Kalvin Henderson, in the fifth round. The match stood as his third win victory of the year, all by stoppage, and his fourth consecutive knockout win. Notable next names could be Lyndon Arthur, Anthony Yarde, or David Morrell.

While still early in his career, Lopez is ranked #10 (WBA) and #14 (IBF). These standings provide him with some interesting potential options. For example, within the WBA bracket, there are notable names such as #9 Arthur, #3 Yarde and #2 Morrell. All three of these gentlemen have more notoriety than Lopez and should provide a good test of skills.

Of these three options though, Arthur and Yarde each have swiftly approaching dance dates. This only leaves Morrell open as a viable option which is not a bad choice at all. Under the IBF rankings however, Lopez may be interested in mixing it up with #13 ranked Ben “The Surgeon” Whitaker or the aforementioned David Morrell who is ranked #4 (IBF).

Neither of these two have any publicly scheduled duel on the books and each stand to make meaningful, exciting showdowns. So, for the moment, we’ll have to cool our heels and see what Team Lopez produces for their charge next.
