Prospects Otar Eranosyan And Marques Valle Remain Undefeated
In a fun, all-action fight, lightweight boxer Otar “PItbull” Eranosyan (13-0, 6 KO’s) snagged his latest victory over Edy “Dinamite” Valencia (20-11-6, 7 KO’s). Throughout the feature bout, Eranosyan, 29, proved to be a joyful ring general as he outworked and commanded a unanimous decision win by way of 98/9297/93, and 97/93.
From the opening bell to the closing clang of round ten, these two went for one another’s neck like Freddy used to do sleepy kids on Elm Street. The first several high-volume rounds were extremely even and saw Pitbull focus on the head and angles. His nemesis, Valencia, 32, sank a high investment into body shots. This format carried into the middle rounds when Eranosyan’s awkward angles and more plentiful combinations allowed him to pull away convincingly and minus controversy.
Unfortunately, both men suffered cuts as the result of a single accidental headbutt in the final round.
MARQUES VALLE MAKES QUICK WORK OF DEMARCUS LAYTON
In his second match of the year, super welterweight fighter Marques Valle (9-0, 7 KO’s) picked up his ninth professional win over Demarcus Layton (8-5-1, 5 KO’s).
Things went south rather quickly for Layton after being caught and hurt within the first 30 seconds of the opening round. While he would try to defend himself and move around the ring to buy time to clear his head, Valle never gave him the opportunity. Instead Valle pursued him all around the ring and connected with heavy leather the whole time.
The one-sided match stretched out to the final minute when the referee had seen enough and hopped in to halt the action. Given the supreme speed that he got Layton out of there with, it would not be a big surprise to see Valle back in the ring very soon.
