Manny Pacquiao planning to sue Top Rank and others!
Manny Pacquiao and Bob Arum’s relationship has taken yet another negative hit. Nearly two months after his seventh round KO of Lucas Matthysse, Pacquiao is planning to take legal action against Top Rank and Bob Arum.
He alleges Top Rank has yet to pay him his portion of revenues from American streaming services.
Pacquiao took to Instagram with this announcement saying this:
“Congratulations and good luck to @TRboxing and @ESPN on your 7-year partnership agreement. I know both of you have been very busy finalizing the deal. However, I have not received the US rights payment for my July 15 fight against Lucas Matthysse that was broadcast on ESPN plus. Therefore, I am initiating legal proceedings against Top Rank and all other parties based on the non-payment and attempt to restrict my future rights. Thank you.”
Knowing Bob Arum and his history with fighters, this could get really ugly between the two.
