Joesph Parker vs Dereck Chisora on April 20 card? Eddie Hearn and David Higgins to discuss deal
Promoter Eddie Hearn has went on record stating he wants to make a fight between former WBO heavyweight champion Joesph Parker and title challenger Dereck Chisora.
Apparently there’s interest from Parker’s side as well. His promoter David Higgins has confirmed that Hearn did indeed reach out to him via email about the match-up.
“He [Hearn] said that he wants to set up a phone call this week so I haven’t spoken to him yet. We’ll get on a call this week and we’ll see what the deal looks like.
“For us it’s all about the right opportunity, the right deal, to put Joseph back to where he needs to be.”

Both fighters have name value to the hardcore boxing fan, therefore, a fight between these two makes sense. Although coming off a loss in his rematch with Dillian Whyte in December, Chisora performed well enough to warrant another opportunity against a top contender.
Parker recently snapped a two-fight skid by stopping Alexander Flores also in December.
A win here for either man would be huge! However, a loss here would be critical as both men may be on their last legs as contenders in the division.
