Peter McGrail Destroys Foster Wants Dennis McCann In 2025
In a super bantamweight showdown, WBA minor title holder Peter McGrail (10-1, 6KO) short-circuited a durable Brad “The Blade” Foster (15-4-2, 5KO) in two rounds. Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn calls for a domestic-level showdown with Dennis “The Menace” McCann (16-0-1, 8KO).
This fight didn’t take long as McGrail emerged strong from the opening bell. He fought behind a brilliant jab and used that footwork to escape any return fire. It was clear this fight wasn’t going to last long as he landed hard shots before the first round ended.
In the second round, McGrail went on a solid body attack and landed a perfect hook to the liver that took the legs of The Blade. Despite trying to get up Foster couldn’t regain control of his legs as the referee stopped the fight.
McGrail became the first man to stop a fighter that’s known for going the distance. During the post-fight interview in the ring, Hearn revealed they want to fight Dennis McCann for the British and European titles.
McCann fights under the banner of Frank Warren’s Queensberry promotions. Warren has owned Hearn whenever their fighters have gone head to head.
Can McGrail be the fighter to bring a victory to the stable only time will tell.
