Caleb Plant Dominates Vincent Feigenbutz in 10th Round TKO Victory!

Making the second defense of his IBF super middleweight title, Caleb Plant returned home for the first time as a professional fighter. Standing in his way of a successful homecoming return and successful second title defense would be the hard-hitting German Vincent Feigenbutz.

EARLY ACTION

Both men started and finished the opening stanza with very low output. However, round two would see Plant start to open up with vicious head and body shots to his mandatory challenger. Firing off blistering combinations, his opponent was often frozen and couldn’t mount an attack or defend.

THE ONSLAUGHT CONTINUES!

Things got progressively worse for Feigenbutz. The much faster and athletic Plant would continue to pummel him over the next few rounds!

TRASH TALKING WHILE FIGHTING!

After a brief outburst of offense by Feigenbutz, Plant stood unimpressed. He would let his opponent know as much by blowing him a kiss and telling him his punches were “nothing”. This made the crowd in the Bridgestone Arena go wild!

RESOUNDING FINISH!

The champion’s repeated onslaught left his supremely overmatched mandatory challenger with a busted nose and bruised face. With Plant continuing to unload repeated head and body shots, by round 10, the ref had seen enough! He called a halt to the action, presenting the IBF super middleweight champion with a tenth round TKO stoppage victory!

A complete domination from beginning to end, Plant improves his record to 20-0, 12 KOs. Now with this out of the way, bigger fights are on the horizon. The biggest name of them all: Canelo Alvarez. Was this performance too good for the Mexican superstar to continue to pursue a possible fight with the Tennessee native? We will no doubt find out in the coming months.

What about David Benavidez? Plant would call him out in his post fight interview, saying he’s tired of waiting. Hopefully they come to an agreement for that huge unification bout for sometime later this year.
