Shawn Porter Sends Well Wishes to Errol Spence
The boxing world is rocked right now with the news of unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr being involved in a horrific car cash.
Spence was heading home in the early mornings hours of October 10. He would cross the median at high speeds and crash his car. The vehicle would flip multiple times and ultimately eject him from the car.
Shawn Porter who shared the ring with Spence on September 28 where the two men put on arguably the best fight of the year sent his thoughts and well wishes.
My dad always tells me “this boxing thing is a part of your life but it’s not going to last forever. U still have a lot of life to live after that.” With that, I’m praying for @ErrolSpenceJr & his family because he has a lot of life to live and I pray he recovers quickly & fully.
We, like Porter, continue to extend our thoughts and prayers to Errol Spence as he begins the road to recovery.
