Undefeated Bantamweight Prince Patel Now World Ranked

Patel is now ranked in the top fifteen by multiple major sanctioning bodies

3kingsboxing has learned the always controversial and extremely confident Prince Patel has broken into the world ranking system.

He is currently sitting at #11 and #13 by both the WBO and IBF respectively.

The undefeated British Bantamweight arrived on the scene in 2015. When his debut fight ended by knockout, he wasted no time in proclaiming how great he is.

His brash and bold personality even gained the attention of boxing promoter Frank Warren.

This alliance ended abruptly when Patel appeared on BoxNation’s “The Sofa.” It was on this broadcast where he made an insulting comment about former WBO Super-Featherweight champion Barry Jones.

Jones is very popular and a regular on the show. As expected, this did not sit well with the public and criticism soon followed.

The 25 year-old has managed to get things back on track since then. He has been letting his body of work speak for him.

Traveling abroad and fighting outside the United Kingdom, he has enjoyed success. This includes winning the WBO European Bantamweight title.

The southpaw boxer/puncher is only one of the reasons why this division is loaded with talent. Currently there is a WBSS tournament happening at bantamweight. However, plenty of exciting matches are possible outside of it.

Patel doesn’t have a fight scheduled now but we will provide updates as they materialize.
