Hot off his second win since losing to Joseph Parker, Ruiz looks toward Jarrell Miller.
Heavyweight contender Andy Ruiz was back in action last night, as he defeated veteran Kevin Johnson by unanimous decision.
It wasn’t Ruiz’s best performance of his career but he got the job done. Afterwards, in his post fight interview he mentioned a possible showdown between himself and Miller.
I’d love to face Jarrell Miller or any of the big guys out there, and they’ll probably underestimate me after this performance. The next one will be different.
Ruiz is 2-0 since losing a majority decision to Parker; his lone title opportunity for the vacant WBO strap back in 2016.
