Sanchez Believes Gassiev Could Make It A Short Night Against Usyk

WBSS cruicruiserweight finals just over 6 weeks away

WBA/IBF cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev will face WBC/WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk in the finals of the World Boxing Super Series May 11th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The winner of this fight will be the undisputed cruiserweight champion.

The fight date may change however but Gassiev’s trainer, Abel Sanchez, says they are still preparing for the 11th of May, as they have been in camp for two weeks.

It’s a great fight, it’s classic boxer against puncher Hagler vs Leonard feels Sanchez. In the fight Usyk had against Mairis Briedis his movement was lacking but it’s not likely this will happen again with Gassiev.

If Usyk doesn’t use his movement and fights like he did against Breidis then Sanchez believes that Gassiev will make it a short night.

One thing is for sure this is a fight with two undefeated unified champions in their prime and boxing need more fights like this.
