Seniesa Estrada Inks New Promotional Deal With Top Rank!

Two-divisional champion Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada (22-0, 9KO) had the boxing community in a frenzy after reports of her departure from Golden Boy Promotion. Boxing enthusiasts wondered where her talents would land. Well, it now seems she has inked a deal with rival promotional arm Top Rank.

Super Bad was to return to the ring in a rematch with Anabel “Avispa” Ortiz on the undercard of Vergil Ortiz versus Michael McKinson on August 6. She was excited about returning to the ring since knocking out Maria Santizo in the fourth round in December 2021.

Then news of her split from Golden Boy hit the scene courtesy of her father, Joe Estrada. He explained that she was released from contract when an agreement could not be reached during renegotiations.

A GREAT SIGNING BY TOP RANK

According to ESPN, Estrada, 3Kings Boxing’s 2021 Female Fighter of the Year, is now linked to Top Rank. Estrada exited Golden Boy’s stable wanting what she felt she deserved. The rematch with Ortiz has likewise been scrubbed. It’s reported that she will return to the ring, hopefully, in November.

Super Bad is an elite-level boxer and currently holds the WBA minimumweight title. She joins ranks with unified junior lightweight champion Mikaela Mayer in her quest to become a household name. The two-divisional champion took to social media to show her enthusiasm about the new partnership.
