Shadasia Green Feels Franchon Crews-Dezurn Is Not On Her Level
Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (12-0, 11 KOs) is currently ranked first by the WBC and second by the WBA at super middleweight. She is on a quest for a title bout with the reigning undisputed champion, Franchon “The HH Diva” Crews-Dezurn (8-1, 2 KOs).
One of the more impressive performances so far in 2023 occurred on February 4. Green annihilated former unified champion Elin Cederroos in six rounds in a WBC title eliminator. With the win, Green is now the mandatory challenger by the WBC.
TOO MUCH FOR THE CHAMP
During an interview with FightHype, Green said she would love for her next fight to be against Crews-Dezurn. When asked how she would fair against the champion, the Sweet Terminator gave the champ a level of respect. However, Green is confident she would leave the ring with her hand raised in victory.
“A lot of people think it’d be a tough fight. I think that Franchon Crews [Dezurn] is tough. She brings it.
“But skill-wise, mechanically in talent, there isn’t a female that has the skill-set that I do. […] I got the equalizer which is the power. So, I think it’ll be a great fight. But, I think I definitely, for sure, know that I’ll be victorious.”
THE WAITING GAME
It’s a match-up that observers want to see. Crews-Dezurn and Green have known each other since they were amateurs. They are far from friendly. On paper, the recipe is there for the contest to be an outstanding one. But the question is, “when will it happen?”

As it stands, the undisputed champion can take a voluntary defense. Word on the street is that next up for Crews-Dezurn could be a fight against reigning light heavyweight champ Hanna Gabriels. Although, with her mandatory status firm, Green believes that the undisputed super middleweight champ will have to see her in the ring at some point before the end of the year.
The Sweet Terminator has worked hard to reach this position and is ready to walk through anyone who gets in her way to achieve her goal of winning a world title.
