Shields vs Hammer: Collision Course Set

Claressa Shields vs Christina Hammer unification bout set for November 17.

After months of back and forth trash talk these two women will finally collide in the ring!

Shields, a former two-time Olympic Gold Medalist will attempt to become the undisputed middleweight champion when she steps in the ring with fellow two-belt title holder Christina Hammer November 17 in Atlantic City, N.J.

The fight will air on Showtime. Shields recently relinquished her WBC super middleweight title. Hammer (23-0, 10 KOs) will no doubt be the toughest opponent of her young career.

The winner of this fight will join recent undisputed champions Terence Crawford, Oleksandr Usyk and Cecilia Braekhus as the only fighters to hold all four recognized titles in any weight division!
