Errol Spence v Danny Garcia set for the fall

Unified welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” Spence will return to the ring for the first time since September of 2019 where he eked out a split decision win over former WBC welterweight champion Shawn “Showtime” (30-3, 17KOs) in their unification bout.

The following month, Spence would meet with a horrific one-car accident that threatened his career. However, the Texas native is back and ready to continue on his march towards undisputed status.

In his way is former two-division world champion Danny “Swift” Garcia (36-2, 21KOs). Initially, the two were going to meet in January before Spence’s car accident. Their fight will now likely take place on November 21, but could change depending on COVID-19 guidelines.

Spence earns a good deal of respect for taking this fight coming off his car accident with no tuneup. Garcia, being a seasoned veteran, poses a major threat to Spence’s title reign, especially if there are any residual effects from his wreck.

Those questions will be answered come November.
