Errol Spence wants Canelo Alvarez to know he’s coming for him!

Undefeated IBF welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” Spence is on a collision course to unify with fellow stablemate AND WBC champion “Showtime” Shawn Porter.

The winner will undoubtedly have a solid case of calling themselves the man of the division. however, that’s only part of the story as earlier today via social media, the IBF champion made a bold statement that have the entire boxing community raising our eyebrows.

“I’ll beat Canelo [Alvarez] ass! After I fight Shawn I’m gonna look for that fight with Canelo! I’m gonna call Oscar’s bluff.”

The 29 year-old Texas body puncher is referring to Golden Boy Promotions head honcho Oscar De La Hoya’s comments about a possible showdown with boxing’s biggest star and unified middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez.

De La Hoya has mentioned this possibly on several occasions this year until now it could come into fruition provided that Spence is victorious in the fall.

However, let’s keep in mind there are still some issues that will need to be discussed. Weight, location, date and probably the biggest hurdle, which network will carry the load of the promotion.

It’s safe to say that Golden Boy will undoubtedly have complete A-side control in this situation without challenge.

Spence has been making the rounds sort of speak when it comes to being mentioned for big fights this year while enjoying positive financial results from his first pay-per-view outing against Mikey Garcia.

Although there hasn’t been a confirmed date or venue for the unified bout with Porter, this only adds more drama to that event, prompting more fans to tune in to see the results of the fight.

After hearing this you can safely assume De La Hoya’s response won’t be too far behind!
