Josh Taylor making big moves
Unified junior welterweight champion Josh “The Tartan Tornado” Taylor (16-0, 12ko) will be returning to the ring for the first time after a war of a bout with former WBA champion Regis “Rougarou” Prograis (24-1, 20ko) to win the World Boxing Super Series tournament.
The Scottish unified champion will now make his first title defenses against Apinun Khongsong (16-0, 13ko). Furthermore, the champion also announced via social media that his new trainer will be Ben Davison after parting ways with Shane McGuigan.
This is going to be a homecoming for Taylor in returning to the first place where he won his first world title in an twelve round dominant performance over former IBF champion Ivan Branchyk in May 2019. The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland is going to be on ten with the fans cheering for their champion!

Taylor will be fighting in the SSE Hydro for the fifth time and will be facing his fourth undefeated fighter in a row.
