The Inoue family is back in training camp preparing for upcoming bouts!
One of the more popular fighting families in Japan, Clan Inoue has started their team preparations.
Takuma Inoue (12-0, 3KOs) will be the main focus of the camp. He is preparing for a December challenge against undefeated Petch Sor Chitpattana (48-0, 33KOs) for the WBC Interim bantamweight title.
The 22 year-old, will be fighting for his first minor title of a major sanctioning body. A victory could lead to a title opportunity possibly against Nordine Oubaali or Rau’shee Warren.
Koki Inoue (12-0, 10KOs), is perhaps the lesser known of the three and the only southpaw. He will be helping his younger brother prepare for the Thailand challenger. Additionally, he well be looking to stay sharp for a possible Japanese title bout in early 2019.
Naoya Inoue (17-0, 15KOs), is arguable the most popular athlete in Japan right now. He will be in a unification bout against IBF Bantamweight champion Emmanuel Rodriguez (19-0, 12KOs) next year. This will be part of the WBSS bantamweight semi-finals.
This family of fighters are all taking their careers very seriously. They are aware that each fight is high risk with even higher reward leaving little room for error.
