Terence Crawford Itching To Get In The Ring With Errol Spence Jr.
When it comes to the welterweight division as it currently stands, there’s only one fight that truly matters. Unified champion Errol “The Truth” Spence (28-0, 22KOs) taking on WBO champ Terence “Bud” Crawford (38-0, 29KOs) for the next Undisputed Champion!
The demand has gotten to the point that when a reporter or fan sees either fighter, the topic of conversation is always redirected to when the two unbeaten champions will fight. Lately there seems to be significant progress made towards a deal getting done. 3Kings Boxing recently reported both fighters are closing in on a deal for their long overdue and highly anticipated undisputed title fight.

Crawford, who was in attendance at this past weekend’s International Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremony, was asked about the status of the negotiations. While he didn’t give much of an update, his hopefulness that a deal could be reached soon signals that negotiations, while still ongoing, are going smoothly.
“Ain’t no updates yet. We’re still trying to figuring things out. Hopefully we can get this thing done and get it done soon.”
Obviously, everyone involved in negotiations are hard at work trying to get this deal done. From Crawford’s comments, you can tell that he wants this fight signed as badly as Spence and fight fans do.
